Good morning viewers! I hope you are enjoying your new season of fly fishing and the upcoming gift giving season as well. Things here in North Texas are a bit unstable as far as conditions go, but sooner or later, this weather will stabilize and normalize – I hope with ice, snow and frozen rod guides!

If you watch the video, there’s more to talk about on the coast as well as our opportunities for rainbow trout on fly from the Guadalupe to Southeastern Oklahoma.

One other fishing opportunity I forgot to mention in the video is the fact that grass carp are taking flies right now in the Bayou City, and that combined with the fair weather there means your free time could easily be dedicated, this Christmas Holiday break, to going after the fish that inhabit the Houston inner city.
