Run Up The Padre October 12; A Genuine South Padre Island Fly Fishing Adventure

| September 19, 2013

Fly Fishing on the Texas Gulf CoastHaving done one of these trips, it is one of the most genuine fishing adventures remaining in Texas fly fishing. I know you’ve read about the one time (I can’t believe only ONE TIME) I did this trip. Check this trip out, and thank me later.

LMFFA’s (Laguna Madre Fly Fishers Association) annual beach fly fishing trip is scheduled for October 12, 2013. We will meet at the SPI (South Padre Island) Convention Center parking lot at 7:30 a.m. to load up and group up in four wheel drive vehicles for the trip up to the Port Mansfield jetties. We will depart the SPI Convention Center by 8:00 a.m. Everyone will meet at the Port Mansfield jetties for lunch provided by LMFFA. We will have a social and awards function for all participants and LMFFA members at Leslie and my home at 118 Kings Court, South Padre Island following the beach trip. Dinner and drinks will be provided by LMFFA.

All events will be free to LMFFA members. Guests are welcome but will be asked to join and pay the $35.00 2013 LMFFA membership dues to participate.

Put the date on your calendar and we will be getting back to everyone with more specific details in the next week or 10 days. Hope to see you there!
