Steve Hollensed Coming to Sportsman’s Finest (Austin TX), May 18 & 19
On Saturday, May 18, I will present “Texoma on the Fly” at 10:30am. The presentation will describe why Lake Texoma, located on the border of TX & OK, is the premier freshwater striper destination in the country and how fly fishers can take advantage of this unique and productive fishery.
On Saturday, at 2:00pm I will also conduct an informative casting demonstration concerning sinking lines. Sinking lines are great tools for the fly fisher as they greatly increase versatility and success rates.
On Sunday I will conduct a series of small group casting classes. Only four sessions will be offered. Classes are designed to assist fly fishers who are wanting to develop better foundations to build their casting on, to correct faults, and to increase distance, accuracy, and efficiency.
