I was fortunate enough to have the big gun (a real camera, a real GOOD camera) along last spring when I spotted a name on a shrimp boat that reminded me of home, or specifically my whiskey sipping neighbor across the street – Joe.
Photographs, on their own, after thirty-six intense years of being obsessed with the format, do not do as much for my creative juices as do the things one can do with those too literal renditions. The Whiskey Joe is a perfect example of how to transform one of my average images into another, more appealing, less photographic style.
PROTECT YOUR FLY RODS!
A rod sleeve for YOUR fly rods, finally! This is another item I would want, so I made it! And I think these rod sleeves are so different that I decided to put them in Pops Fly Shop. I don't know about you, but I change rods and reels across all the time.
