WILD ART WEDNESDAY

Illustration and graphic design are areas that are also under full-frontal assault by digital demons these days. But there is just something different, and non-mechanical, non-machine about Brian Steely’s work that I like. He definitely goes in a direction I like – the Riviera Maya (been there) as an example.

Baton down the hatches people! Tonight may be one to remember here in North Texas. If you don’t hear from me again, you’ll know I was blown away!

Look for the new edition of Drake Magazine on your newsstands now! I have a new article in there somewhere. Living in “podunka” as I do, I don’t have access to the fineries of a magazine newsstand (although Fultz News on the Square WAS here when I got to Denton), much less a top-shelf fly shop (9 copies on hold at Tailwaters Fly Fishing Dallas).
