Texas Fly Caster Website Changes

| March 4, 2014

Be sure to take a look around at some of the other pages! I just updated several of them, and have been moving things around a bit. I added the “Casting Lessons” page, and updated the “Guiding” page, now called “Fly Guide.”

I will be continuing the Lady’s Wednesday Fly outings for 2014, and am sticking with the youth movement – anyone 15-years-old and younger fly fishes half-day weekdays free this summer!

There should be noticeable speed increases coming by the end of the week as well.

I was looking back for some old images to spiffy up the page updates, and realized that we were fishing heavy by late March of last year! Unbelievable! There’s ice on the ground outside right now, and we still have not had a run of warm weather long enough to blunt the cold water temperatures. You can expect starting dates for local fly fishing opportunities to be pushed back while the water gradually warms.

And in an ongoing effort to make sure we are still on the right tracks here at Texas Fly Caster, I have installed a “Survey” page, and if you click on the button – SURVEY – you can take this anytime you like.

You may be one of the 600 new arrivals a day, or you may have been one of the other hundreds that are here every day. Regardless of your loyalties and history, please, take the time to do this survey.

I don’t collect anything but helpful information from it. This survey can have a significant impact on the future of the Texas Fly Caster website. That page will have surveys on all kinds of topics throughout the year.
