I either forgot, or didn’t get a notice on this, but the guys at Tailwaters Fly Fishing Co. in Dallas, Texas, are having a party today and it’s shaping up to be another humdinger. I completely missed the party last Saturday (working again for Cimarrona), but this one has plenty of deals, food and some local beer to whet your whistle.
I was there after a photo shoot Wednesday, and somebody said the party will be running 4-7 today. I do believe, check me on this, ’tis the last Thursday before Christmas. The deals at Tailwaters are plentiful: Books and DVD’s are half off, sale racks have some great stuff, there are Simms Boa wading boots on sale … Umpqua bags and packs, Patagonia packs, Reddington Fly Rods … I’m sure I missed something, but you’ll have to check it out yourself .
