Here is a video I promised a guy [ppw id=”133618957″ description=”Fly Tying for Carp” price=”.10″]

who is new to fly tying and having trouble getting to carp in muddy water. This is for you! Try it.

For many readers, all you have to do is look at it, and you’ll be able to tie it right away. If there is a name for it, don’t be shy, let me know what it is! I am sure someone invented it, and they just love the spotlight, right?

  1. Brian says:

Hi shannon – that is a very effective carp fly. Similar to the Montana hybrid tied by John montana. You can tie with dumbell eyes, peacock chenille, and a few turns of partridge for hackle. One of my biggest carp in colorado was taken on the Montana hybrid.

    Thanks for video!
