Monday Morning Sidewalk

| July 22, 2019

Marvelous Monday Morning to those of you who like what you do during the week! For the rest of you, I hope I can distract you long enough to provide a little aspirin to your headaches. And speaking of aches …

A BEASTLY WIND DID BLOW

I took a pretty good compression this past weekend, due to the rough water on the Gulf around Port O’Connor, Texas. We were able to get out of it at will, but dealt with it to get across the bay to the jetties a few times. Yes, always looking for those mystical fish at the jetties.

A little big ugly never hurt anybody.

Maybe I wouldn’t be as sore if the ego wasn’t also bruised by utter defeat from this weekend. Still, speaking for myself, I learned a lot more about Port O and just how complex it is in so many different aspects. Complex by water standards, complex by ecological standard and complex by social standards.

I will go more into the details sometime soon, but for now, I am going to go see if I can stretch back out this body to its original height.
