Shifting Some Gears Here And Elsewhere
WOMEN WEDNESDAY – FIRST GEAR

at Texas Fly Caster. It was a time to tell true stories of gloom-and-doom of the water situation here in the State of Texas. Those true stories haven’t changed really, but they have been watered down a bit over the last two years. Such is the fate defined by Mother Nature. There’s another drought in our futures. It could be sooner, or it could be later. That’s all beyond our control. We can conserve in preparation, as individuals, or we can waste as part of a bigger whole in the bucket. Controversial? You bet. How could it not be? A college educated, white 54-year-old, part of a newly downtrodden minority, writing about (yes, writing for too) the most powerful gender at the pinnacle of power …
Just remember that a “Column” is a place for opinion. You are welcome to agree or disagree, but if you do have an opinion; don’t be a chicken$&)T, bring it here – let’s hear it, or keep it to yourself.
