1. Ablon Park: From I-30 in Garland, exit onto Rosehill and go south. Turn east on Guthrie, then right on Ablon Trail Drive. Park is on the south side of the road.
2. American Legion Park Pond: In Missouri City on Lexington Drive off FM1092.
4. Ascarate: Located in Ascarate Park between Alameda Avenue and Hwy 375 in central El Paso, south of Delta Drive and west of R.E. Thomason Loop.
5. Bandera City Park Lake: East side of town off Texas 173.
6. Bane Park: From US 290, exit at Little York and go west about 1 mile. Park is at junction of West Little York and North Gressner roads.
7. Bates Allen Park: From Rosenberg take US 59 south to Kendleton. Watch for park sign on left as you come into town; turn left and follow signs to park.
8. Barg Park: In Mansfield at 1435 Whispering Water Lane.
9. Bear Creek Park: From I-35 north of Fort Worth, take Golden Triangle Blvd. east to Keller, turning south on Main St (Hwy 377) to Bear Creek Road going east, park is on the south side of the road.
10. Bethany Park C: Take Hwy 75 north out of Dallas to Bethany Road in Allen, travel east on Bethany to Allen Heights Road, park is on the NE corner.
11. Blue Hole Park: From I35 take the FM2338/Williams Drive exit, head east and turn right onto Austin Avenue. From Austin Avenue turn right onto 2nd street, then right again onto Scenic Drive and follow into the park.
12. Blue Ridge Park Pond: From South Beltway 8 take S. Post Oak Road exit. Turn south on S. Post Oak, then right on Court Road. Park is on the left.
15. Buena Vista Park Lake: From Loop 340 on the east side of Bellmead, go West on Kendall Lane. Go 2-3 blocks on Kendall Lane and turn left on Crow Dr. Follow Crow Dr. approximately 2 blocks to Buena Vista Park.
16. Bullfrog Pond: In Travis County East Metropolitan Park on Blake-Manor Road off FM 973
17. Burke-Crenshaw Lake: Located in Burke-Crenshaw City Park in Pasadena, take Loop 610 to Hwy 225 in southeast Houston, go east on Hwy 225 to Red Bluff Road, go southeast on Red Bluff to Burke Road, turn right on Burke and go south to intersection of Burke and Crenshaw, turn right on Crenshaw, park will be located immediately on the left.
18. Burroughs Park Pond: Off Huffsmith Road near Tomball.
19. Camp Mabry: From central Austin take 38th Street west until it merges into 35th street. Cross Loop 1 (MoPac Expressway) and look for Camp Mabry entrance on right.
20. Canyon Southeast Park Lake: From I-27 in Canyon, exit 4th Avenue and go west. Turn south on 28th Street, take Pond Lane to Ballpark Way and look for pond on north side.
21. Canyon Tailrace/Guadalupe River: Trout will be stocked at Guadalupe Park, Whitewater Sports, Rio Guadalupe/bridge crossing in Sattler, Third Crossing, and Camp Huaco Springs. During the stocking season, several locations will offer free access to trout anglers. See map. Please note special regulations are in effect for trout on some sections of this river reach.
22. Carl Barton Jr. Park Pond: Off Loop 336 east of IH-45; on right east of 1314.
23. Caudle: In Hale Center. From I-27 take exit 37, go north on frontage road to East 13th St. Take first right onto Ave. C, which turns left and becomes 12th Street. Pond is on right.
24. Centennial Park Lake: 2200 South Friendswood Drive
26. Central Park Pond #1: Take Harvey Road exit off Hwy 6 East Bypass and continue south on the service road. Park entrance is on the right just past Krenek Tap Road.
27. Claiborne West: In Orange County Park east of Vidor
28. Cleburne Hulen Park: From Texas 171 going north, turn left at Country Club Road. Take 3rd right onto S. Walnut, then turn right at W. 3rd St. Park will be on left.
29. Comanche Trails in Big Spring: From IH 20, take FM 700 south/southeast to S. Gregg (U.S. 87), turn left (south) on S. Gregg and then right (west) on Whipkey Drive. From San Angelo, take U.S. 87 north to Big Spring, pass lake on left side of highway and take an immediate left onto Whipkey Drive.
31. Copperas Cove City Park: From US 190 turn north on FM 116. Watch signs and stay on 116 until it crosses Ave. B. Turn left there, then right at Northern Dove Ln.
34. Eisenhower Park Pond: Located south of Lake Houston dam, take Lake Houston Parkway east off Beltway 8, go past Deussen Drive, road will cross water canal and end at a T-intersection, turn north (left), pond is a few blocks past turn and is located where road splits.
35. Elder Lake: In Synergy Park on Highway 259.
36. Eldridge Park Pond: From I-10, take Highway 6 south to Sugar Land and turn left on 90A. Go 1.9 miles and turn left on Eldridge Road. Park is on left, about 2 miles down.
37. Faulkner Park Lake: From Tyler head south on Hwy 69. Go past the Mall, Lowe’s and Best Buy shopping center, continue south past the Wal-Mart Supercenter and Target. Look for the park entrance on the right (west) side of road, approximately 1/2 to 1 mile south of Target and across from the intersection of Hwy 69 and Cumberland Road.
38. First Capitol Park Pond: On 13th Street in West Columbia.
39. Frontier Park Pond: In Prosper east of high school, park entrance at 1551 W. Frontier Parkway
40. Fryer Lake: in Wolf Creek Park, off Highway 83 approximately 12 miles south of Perryton.
41. Glen Rose Towne Lake: Located in Paluxy Heritage Park. From Hwy 67 heading southwest, turn left on Barnard Street just before Exxon station. Go to stop sign and turn left on Elm. Cross bridge and look for park on left.
42. Greenbriar Park: From I-20 in Ft. Worth, go north on Hemphill St. The Park is located is located on the west side of the road.
43. Harlingen Sports Complex Pond: Take Hwy 77 to Harlingen, exit Farm Road 2994 (Wilson Road), go west approximately 2 miles, entrance to sports complex is on the left.
44. Grover Nelson Park: At Abilene Zoo near intersection of SE 11th Street and Loop 322. Small Pond is situated between two larger lakes.
46. Hurst Chisholm Park: From Hwy 183 east of Fort Worth, go north on Norwood, after crossing Harwood, park is located on the east side of the road.
47. Jasper City Park Pond: In Sandy Creek Park in Jasper.
48. Keneteso Pond: Southwest side of Gainesville in city park on S. Grand Avenue.
50. Kidd Springs Park: South of downtown Dallas in Oak Cliff area. From I-30 go south on Hampton Rd. N to Colorado Blvd. Go east on Colorado Blvd. to Tyler St., south on Tyler, then east on Canty W; the pond is behind the rec center.
51. Kitty Hollow Lake: Travel south on Hwy 6 from Missouri City. Park is on the left past Lake Olympia Subdivision.
52. Lakeside Park: From I-20 in Duncanville, exit on Cedar Ridge and go south. Turn east on Camp Wisdom, then south on Steger Drive.
54. Lamesa 9th Street Park: From U.S. 87 take U.S. 180 (4th St.) west; turn north on North Main Avenue. Park is on west side of North Main between 7th and 10th streets.
55. Lewisville Tailrace: In Lewisville Lake Environmental Learning Area (LLELA). From I-35E exit onto Valley Ridge Blvd and go east. Turn north (left) on Mill St., then east (right) on Jones St. LLELA is open Friday, Saturday and Sunday and charges a $5 entrance fee.
56. Live Oak City Pond: San Antonio area in the City of Live Oak. From Topperwein Rd., turn east on Narrow Pass Drive, then south on Lone Shadow Trail, then east on Lazy Forrest.
57. LNVA Barrier Pond: From downtown Beaumont take US 287 North, exit on E. Lucas Dr, turn left (North) on Bigner Rd and go 1.75 miles.
58. Llano River: Trout will be stocked at several bridge crossings between Castell and Llano: RR 2768, CR 102 and CR 103.
61. Murphy City Hall Pond: Next to City Hall on N. Murphy Road.
62. Mary Jo Peckham Park: 5597 Gardenia Lane in Katy.
63. Medical Center South: From Interstate 40 in Amarillo, take Coulter Street north to Wallace Blvd. and turn east into the Medical Center complex.
65. Mesquite City Lake: From I-635 take Military Pkwy-Scyene Rd. exit and go east. Turn south on Galloway and west on Holley Street.
66. Mike Lewis Park: From Interstate 30, go north on NW 19th St, which becomes Carrier Parkway N. Park is on east side of road.
67. Miller’s Pond: 6075 Old Pearsall Road on southwest side of San Antonio.
68. Missouri City Community Park Lake: Located at 1700 Glenn Lakes Lane.
69. Monahans Perch Pond: In Monahans, southwest of intersection of Main Street and Hwy I-20 on Perch Pond Road.
70. Mueller Lake Park: East of Interstate 35 near intersection of Airport Blvd. and Aldrich Street.
71. Nolan Creek: Located in Yettie Polk Park. From I-35, take exit 293A take Texas 317 North. Turn right on S. Main and left at Central Avenue.
72. Northwest Park Pond: From the Airport Freeway (Hwy 183) take Beltline Road north to Rochelle, turn west on Rochelle, south on Cantrell and west on Lago Vista which takes you right by the pond.
73. Oakes Street: Downtown on the North Concho River between Oakes and Irving Streets
74. Pampa City: Located approximately 2 miles east of Pampa on Hwy 60, lake is located in the Top O’ Texas Rodeo Grounds.
75. Pittsburg City Lake: City park on northwest side of Pittsburg, west on Hwy 11 and north on Texas Street.
76. Plum Lake: Northeast side of Wichita Falls (softball complex).
77. Possum Kingdom Tailrace: Located approximately 3/4 mile below the Possum Kingdom dam where Texas Highway 16 crosses the Brazos River.
78. Resoft Park Lake: Located between Alvin and Pearland on Hwy 35 at County Road 281. Park entrance is on County Road 281.
79. Richards Park: In Brady, turn west off US 87 onto Memory Lane.
80. Rita Blanca Kids Fishing Pond: Off Hwy 87 west of Dalhart.
81. River Park (Clear Fork Trinity River): On Bryant Irvin Rd between I-30 and SH 183, just north of the Lockheed Martin Recreation Area.
82. Rose Park: From the Mansfield Hwy (Hwy 287) exit to the right (southwest) on Walnut Creek Drive and the park is on the right side of the road.
83. San Gabriel Park: From I-35 take the FM 2338/Williams Drive exit, head east and turn left onto Austin Ave. Turn right onto Stadium Lane and follow into park.
85. South Lakes Park: From Dallas, head north on Interstate 35E to Denton. Turn west on FM 2181, go to Hobson Lane and turn right (north). Park is on east side of road.
86. South Weeks: Southwest corner of Southwest Parkway and Stone Lake Drive.
87. Southside Lions Park (Hi-Lions): From Southcross Blvd, turn north on Pecan Valley Drive and go 0.5 mile. Turn right on Hiawatha Street to reach the lake.
88. Spring Lake Park: From Interstate 30, take the Summerhill Road exit in Texarkana. Turn right at the first light, left at the second light. Stay on that road until you see park and lake entrance.
89. Sulphur Springs City Park: City park on west side of Sulphur Springs, north on League Street off I-30, near Civic Center and High School.
90. Teague Park: From Interstate 20 in Longview, take the Estes Parkway exit and turn left. When Estes Parkway forks, stay to the right and you’ll be on Mobley. Turn right on Whaley Road, left on American Legion Road, and look for park entrance. Pond is up the hill on the right, next to the parking lot.
92. TFFC Ponds: In downtown Athens, take Highway 31 east to FM 2495. Turn right and go approximately 5 miles to the Texas Freshwater Fisheries Center.
93. Tom Bass I & III: Tom Bass Regional Recreational Center in south Houston, go south on Hwy 288 to Fellows Road and turn east to Cullen Road intersection.
94. Towne Lake: East of US 75 in McKinney. If southbound on 75, take the Virginia Pkwy Exit; if northbound on 75, take the ElDorado Pkwy exit.
95. Trinity Park (Clear Fork Trinity River): Park is located just north of I-30 on University Drive across from the Botanic Gardens.
96. Two-Acre Lake: From Hwy 64 east of downtown Canton, go west on Hwy 243. Take first left on Arnold Paul Rd before Wal-Mart Center. The pond is on the right before the boat ramp.
97. Tyler Nature Center: From Loop 323 on the east side of Tyler, head east on Spur 248. Go past UT Tyler and continue to intersection of 248 and 848. Turn south on 848, go 0.5 mile and look for Nature Center on right.
98. Utopia Park Lake: West side of Utopia off RM 1050.
99. Waterloo: West side of Denison, east on Crawford Road and then turn south on Verna Lane.
100. Woldert Park: Pond is at the Glass Recreation Center on North Broadway. From North Loop 323 turn south on Broadway and travel 0.9 miles to W. 32nd street and turn right.
101. Wyatt Pond: In Mineola Nature Preserve. From Mineola, go south on US 69 and turn east on Loop 564. Go about ¼ mile, pass equestrian entrance and turn right (southeast) on County Road 2724 (Cap Ranch Road). Follow signs about 1.5 mile to entrance.
103. Blanco State Park: Located off US Highway 281, four blocks south of Blanco town square and 40 miles north of San Antonio. Turn on Park Road 23.
104. Bob Sandlin State Park: At Mount Vernon, exit Interstate 30 to Highway 37 South. Go 0.8 mile, turn left on Highway 21, and go 11.2 miles to the park entrance.
105. Buescher State Park: From Smithville, take State Highway 71 west 2 miles to FM 153. Turn north and go one-half mile to enter Park Road 1.
106. Cedar Hill State Park: Located 10 miles southwest of Dallas, 4 miles southeast of Grand Prairie. From US Highway 67 exit FM 1382, 2 1/2 miles north on the left. From Interstate 20 exit FM 1382, 4 miles south on the right. Trout will be stocked in the park’s perch pond.
107. Lake Corpus Christi: Trout will be stocked at Lake Corpus Christi State Park. From Mathis, go 4 miles southwest on State Highway 359 and turn on Park Road 25.
110. Fort Richardson State Park: From Jacksboro, take US Highway 281 south one-half mile.
111. Garner State Park: Located 8 miles north of Concan on the Frio River. From US Highway 83, turn east on FM 1050 for 0.2 miles to Park Road 29 to the new entrance.
112. Javalina Draw: In San Angelo State Park near the Burkett Trailhead. From San Angelo, take U.S. Highway 67 south to FM 2288 to the South Shore entrance.
113. Johnson Branch 2: In Ray Roberts Lake State Park. Entrance to Johnson Branch Unit is 7 miles east of I-35 on FM 3002.
115. Lost Maples State Park: 5 miles north of Vanderpool on Ranch Road 187.
116. Meridian State Park: Take State Highway 174 south from Cleburne, Highway 144 south from Glen Rose or Highway 6 northwest from Waco. Join Highway 22 at Meridian and go west 3 miles to park.
118. Pair-a-Trees Pond: In Lake Tawakoni State Park, 50 miles east of Dallas and 25 miles south of Greenville. From Interstate 20, take State Highway 47 north through Wills Point to FM 2475 and continue for about 4 miles.
119. Palmetto State Park: From Gonzales, take US 183 north 10 miles. Turn west on FM 1586 and go 2 miles to Ottine. Turn south on Park Road 11.
120. South Llano River State Park: Take Interstate 10 to Junction, then go south on US Highway 377 for 5 miles to Park Road 73.
121. Springfield Lake: In Fort Parker State Park, located 7 miles south of Mexia or 6 miles north of Groesbeck off State Highway 14. Entrance is on Park Road 28.
122. Lake Theo: In Caprock Canyons State Park. Take State Highway 86 from Quitaque, turn north on FM 1065 and go 3.5 miles to park entrance.
123. Tyler State Park: Take FM 14 north from Tyler. The park is located 2 miles north of Interstate 20.
