Another Fly Fishing Domino Falls
I Fly Fish the DOUBLE 4 and Live to Tell!
Texans. They absolutely love their dominos – and I don’t mean the pizza. I’ll have to tell the story of the sound of those late night, early morning shuffles someday. There’s nothing like that sound.
If you have been watching along, on the Texas Fly FishingYouTube Channel, you know I have a simple domino game where each of the doubles represent a lake for me to go to and fly fish. From the double-blank to the double-six, each one represents a lake in Texas – a lake that is fairly near DFW! I flip one of them over when I am ready to go to the next lake, and report on my results there. Unfortunately, these days, due to what I do not know, it is taking multiple trips to put anything together that might resemble a “fishing pattern.” Shorthand – it sucks around here.
Luckily the last one was close by, and the next one – the double-five is not terribly far away either. Once the doubles are all played – early next year – We go back and do it again with different lakes assigned to the double dominos. Eventually, I want to assign seven Gulf Coast locations to the seven doubles, and let them fall. As long as I am not living on the Coast, why not? It’s all a drive, no matter what … or where.
Stay with the video to the end! There are some additional cuts that I tagged onto the end of this video, and include The Fisher Prince, some of my products, and a Denton Artist feature.
