Weekly Fly Tying & GRTU Troutfest Information

As we enter into the busy holiday (and trout!) season, I wanted to take a moment to remind you that we are rapidly approaching Trout Fest 2013. This year our event will be held Feb 15-17th at Rio Raft.
Our last two years have been very successful, and funds raised from those events allow us to advance our work to restore and sustain the Guadalupe tailrace as one of Trout Unlimited’s top 100 trout streams.
Go to our Trout Fest website today (http://www.grtutroutfest.org/) and purchase your tickets for the banquet, which features fly fishing’s living legend, Lefty Kreh. We will sell out of these tickets, so act now to reserve your seat at this once in a lifetime event.

FLY TYING AT SPORTSMAN’S FINEST AUSTIN TEXAS
Don’t forget that tonight is the weekly fly tying at Sportsman’s Finest! My new year’s resolution, one of them anyway, is to announce more events in a timely fashion so that we may have the opportunity to jump in the car and drive 200-miles each way for an evening of fly tying. If you go, be sure to tell them where you heard about the event – it’s a good one.
