Friday is May first, and significant in many ways. For now, we will just stick to the script, and let you know about fly fishing conditions here in North Texas, and what we think we know about the rest of the State of Texas.
Probably the best thing I can say about fly fishing conditions is, look back at your Water Wednesday report to see what this rain has done to our watershed. We’re still dealing with a lot of consequences from the rain, some of them in plain sight, and (I think) some of them being resolved behind State of Texas closed doors.
In plain english, I think it’s safe to say this huge bulge in water supply on area lakes is a blessing, but I will get out this evening and look for a curse – just to do my due diligence reporting for readers (LLELA and Lewisville lake).
