History Now Takes A Bow
As a student of history, “literally’ as the popular word goes, we’re living it in real time aren’t we?
If any of us live long enough, that historic perspective does kick in. Heck, I photographed Biden on his first run in 1988! But let us not rest on yesterday, or sixty-plus years of yesterdays. There are fish to find, somewhere out there – in front of us – in time and space.

This week could well be a wild one. I have some good intel on some DAM action in North Central Texas, and at the same time, for some brilliant reason, I put a POLL on the YouTube Community discussion page. The POLL was asking what lakes the viewers would like to see in a future YouTube video. Somebody kick me in the crotch the next time you see me, please.
The consensus in that poll is that I am going to be driving some distance to abide by its results. What else is new? Maybe participants pushed their choice based on making it more difficult for me! Whatever the reason, the dude abides.
Thankfully though, I still control my destination. In front of the BIG SLACK WATER trips is a story that perked up last week, a story on this DAM situation.
