Drinking Water Follow Up – Forget the Nalgene and Plastic NOW
You may remember my campaign to rid us of all those idiotic plastic water bottles that clutter the entire fly fishing world, and my push to go to Nalgene bottles.
WELL … stop using Nalgene bottles for now. Apparently the materials they introduced to battle the BHP war are actually as bad as the BHP bottles. So if you have noticed glass and stainless taking up prominent display space at your local outdoor shops – that’s the reason why.
I will have more on this later, and the alternatives, for now though – go glass and USA stainless steel. It’s my belief that if you buy Chinese stainless, you are just asking for trouble. FEEL FREE TO THINK.
