Wrangler Outdoor Series Pants For Fly Fishermen
Wrangler Pants Are Great Fly Fishing and Outdoor Coverage
Sometimes a value comes along that just has to be shared to be appreciated. These Wrangler pants are sold at Wal Mart, and are a great value at $22-dollars. As much as I appreciate the clothing lines by Howler Brothers — their new price point on pants – just pants – is $100, Simms is at $69-89 and MK’s at $89-95 — we are quickly approaching the break point in real value. And now that I have two pair of these Wranglers, I may just go out and get the two winter colors … a bit of quick math puts the total for four pair at less than one Ben Franklin. More sauce for my extra fish tacos please!
What makes the Wrangler pants so great? Watch the video for the answers, but I can tell you in short
- Slim Cut pantlegs!
- Lower waist fitting (below the gut
- Elastic (not what you think) waist band
- Sized fitting – waist / length
- Seven pockets
- Just as good for a night out after a day on the skiff
I almost found them on the Wal Mart site – Men’s Outdoor Expandable (name sucks!) – but that isn’t exactly them. I did find some upscale styles that look to be nearly the same though – just more formal back pockets (than jean-like pockets).
They do have some more upscale styles that look satisfactory on Amazon, but I can’t find a single pair that has so many pockets.
