Here’s what you missed! And of course there was so much more – great information gathered from manufacturers, artists and promoters at this event, and I will try and do a better video and story to get them out this week. This is a pretty good look at what the inside looked like though – shot on a phone and uploaded from the EXPO. I couldn’t find anyone interested in sampling the fishing opportunities Saturday, so I hightailed it back to North Texas. There’s more better video and still photographs from this event. I will take a look and see if I can pull something together.

THE SIDEWALK

We’re hitting the ground running around here, so the video Monday Morning Sidewalk will have to wait for another week. Please feel free to make suggestions for where to fly fish this week, and I will look at as time allows. I’m kind of bookended by the joys of having work – during a normally slowing time. The real (work) drought begins in July as always.

We will spin some new music this week, and maybe even sample some hot weather hopped up beers!

Friday has a crew of kayakers doing some intense fishing on Lake Ray Roberts, and the door is wide open for your participation in this picnicking armada. Just hit me by e mail, or through the “Contact” page for more information. There’ll be conventional fishing for sand bass, as we work to bring home the tacos – fish tacos that is!

Here’s a look back at Father’s Day 2013 –

Have to run! Have a great day, and week. Drive and arrive safely to wherever you are going – it’s the most dangerous thing we do, and we don’t even think about it that much we’re so busy getting there.
