Monday Morning Update

Here’s a big Easter Egg for you! It could be a trick or a treat – fair warning! Between the time this video was shot, and now, came some serious storms west of Fish Camp North. And those storms did damage to places like Amon G. Carter Lake, and Nocona’s lake and have dumped enough rain to force the flood gates open further south – at Possum Kingdom Dam (thank God). The timing of where the fish are on Possum Kingdom Lake may mean there is not a huge drop of fish below, but we can always hope, can’t we?

Those storms were followed by a cool front, once again dipping temps down into the lower 50’s here, and threatening to cool the perfectly warming water once again. I will be doing one more day on Ray Roberts this week, before heading somewhere else to try fly fishing another big calm water spot out in a spring that seems to be flourishing just right this year.

Condolences to Catholic readers at the loss of the Pope. He seemed like a good one to me, but I’m not Catholic, so what do I know! If you missed the movie Conclave? Catch that one sometime.
