Local Internet Outages Reek Havoc on Schedules

For a long look at what Wild Art actually is, be sure to check out the post – What is Wild Art?

Today’s wild art comes from the Brownsville Ship Channel

I was fortunate enough to have the big gun (a real camera, a real GOOD camera) along last spring when I spotted a name on a shrimp boat that reminded me of home, or specifically my whiskey sipping neighbor across the street – Joe.

Photographs, on their own, after thirty-six intense years of being obsessed with the format, do not do as much for my creative juices as do the things one can do with those too literal renditions. The Whiskey Joe is a perfect example of how to transform one of my average images into another, more appealing, less photographic style.

TEXAS ARTIST

Pinky Diablo is a Texas original artist. If you know the guy, you know that isn't even his name! But for the sake of running from fame, we choose to keep the aka. Pinky Diablo while he is in witness protection. His integration of the skeleton-skull culture so prominent in the Hispanic Dia de los Muertos art and fly fishing's most quirky moments - make all the Pinky Diablo art a purely original pursuit for your fly fishing man cave.
