Regardless of everything going on in the USA, prices are now holding steady on products I have in the Fly Shop! I have to pat myself on the back – for the fact that I have actually managed to keep this fly fishing website, your Texas fly fishing website, from sprouting grubby political weeds in it over the eighteen years it has been existing and growing a healthy community of readers and visitors. The tariffs speak for themselves, what they have done, and what they will do to all of us. It’s not that I am politically inert, that side of life has no place on this side of life. All I can do here is point out which political parties are for dumping treated sewer water in Texas bays, take my losses, and flip the switch to another place … and let it all out. I try and leave you with a lot to READ BETWEEN MY LINES, when it comes to the environmental awareness of each political party (more parties please!).

And when we talk about YouTube, we’re talking about the second most powerful search engine on earth. Of course it is! It’s owned by Google, and is a source for all kinds of information, things you only imagined, can be found there – in long form and in short form. If I have a mechanical quandary, I hit YouTube for the visual solution to the problem. It works! I had the good fortune of many subscribers, which allowed me to create a “Membership” section for those videos that have lessons, that took a lot of time to assemble, on many fly fishing topics. And I have those videos that are a little too hot to handle in the “public” YouTube Section of the Channel.
I am always seeking topics that you are interested in, but need to know what those topics you are interested in – ACTUALLY ARE! People: It’s a chance for you to turn the joystick and make me go a direction you want me to go. I did a video for one friend, simply on how to run a loop-to-loop connection together. This gives us all some valuable knowledge; some fly fishers are just getting started, even if we are getting grey and rusty in the armpits.
