Gyotaku Prints Underway by Leslie Kregel
I was summoned to her second home late one afternoon to see the new Gyotaku prints she had started, and I must say the results are interestinger and interestinger.
The last image is something I had in mind for awhile – working with old patterns, in this case a wallpaper pattern from more than fifty years ago, to create some whacked out backgrounds, or standalone pieces. Photo Tip for Today: If you have a flatbed scanner, you have one of the best cameras money could never buy. Scanners are an underrated money machine. I’ve sold plenty of patterns as stock in the past, and a new crop is on the way.

You’ll get over it.
sweet. although thinking about a dead fish in paint kind of makes me sick.
AWESOME Leslie! Especially the one with the blue outline. You’ve got to bring some with you Sunday for the Bloody Mary Bash!
