So, maybe I did have something to do with this. So what! My SO likes fish too, and if you don’t believe it, look back to her first flats trip for Carp, and see how she beat us all down with her mighty stealth.

I was summoned to her second home late one afternoon to see the new Gyotaku prints she had started, and I must say the results are interestinger and interestinger.

The last image is something I had in mind for awhile – working with old patterns, in this case a wallpaper pattern from more than fifty years ago, to create some whacked out backgrounds, or standalone pieces. Photo Tip for Today: If you have a flatbed scanner, you have one of the best cameras money could never buy. Scanners are an underrated money machine. I’ve sold plenty of patterns as stock in the past, and a new crop is on the way.
