Digging in the Past
In a long-going effort to bring some light to the darkness that has settled over my old YouTube Fly Fishing Channel over the decades, I have been doing some updating of the fodder that goes with these videos. This one seemed cool to me for a few reasons, but if you are tired of shameless promotions of GEAR, especially FLY GEAR? then don’t watch it!
Truthfully, I had forgotten about this one, and if you don’t get my subliminal message in this video? See the previous sentence. Promos were at huge heights before the Pandemic, and it looks like they have cooled WAY OFF in this current realignment in the fly fishing industry.

I made this one for you! Alvin’s a fantastic person, and his HUGE endorsements these days include Ford Trucks, Orvis and Yeti and _______ … Not shabby at all, not at all. I wonder though … does anyone know how endorsements translate these days? In my small world, I really do “partnerships” – paying for products I promote to readers and viewers.
All this said and done? The products I cover here in 2019 were updated in the YouTube description TODAY. A lot has happened since then, but you may be surprised by the 2024 update! And who does 5-year updates anyway? Have a fantastic weekend.
