April is no Fool!
Good Monday Morning! I’m not fooling. IT IS a good Monday morning, and although this early heat here in North Texas is a signal, we will get through the tornadoes, hail and wind as we always do. If you have damage, let me know! I need to crank up the Stihl and cut some WOOD!
Right now, I am uploading a new video on the Atlas Vise by Wolff Industries. I have been needing to do this review for awhile now, and the opportunity (I have no fine studio) for weeks on end. If it’s not the incessant wind, it’s something else … not fly fishing related!
I am on the way out this morning to round off the work for the week, so have a watch of this video, and get ready – WEATHER WILLING – for a trip to Lake Fork or a nearby lake (to Fork), to fly fish with none other than Alex Guthrie of Fly Fish Fork. The weather can make us and it can break us these days in North Texas. Fork has water again, and although it has a reputation larger than the lake, I am very interested in OTHER lakes near FORK – that are inside Guthrie’s range of talent.
