Denton Fly Tying Group Meets October 12

Things are coming together for the new fly tying group created for Denton County Veterans, and part of the Denton County Military Veterans Peer Network (DCMVPN).

This new class size is limited to five veterans, and here is the flier with information. You can click to enlarge that image for reading. Drag it off to your desktop if you want. If you would like a printable version, I can provide one to you or your organization.

Thanks goes out to the good people at Rambler Angler & Blade. Those guys are in the midst of cleanup and rebuilding after Hurricane Francine did her damage to residences and the offices sustained damage with electricity promised to be restored this Friday, October 4. They are running on generators right now, in Spartanburg, South Carolina. WE also thank LOON Outdoors for supplying the basic tool sets for the five Apex vises we now have. I have been familiarizing myself with the Apex vise, and it is going to be a fantastic vise to start this class OR ANY CLASS with! If you are shopping for a vise, take a look at both Rambler vises by Rambler formerly Wolff Industries – the Atlas or Apex fly tying vises.

CONTACT ME if you do not know where to start in the veteran process. I don’t know much, but can direct you to those who do. Keep in mind, the DCMVPN (CONTACT) is a dynamic organization that is there to help veterans at NO COST with a wide variety of situations a veteran can encounter these days. Their location in Roanoke is a real respite for veterans who may just be looking for calm in an un-calm world.
