Simple Repair Simms Flats Sneakers Saves Bucks

PREPARE YOURSELF – FOR A 20-PERCENT PRICE HIKE FLY FISHERS!

It’s time to tighten those wading belts boys and girls! The vast majority of Simms Products are made in China, and with a 20% retail cost increase (minimum) coming to the USA, we’re going to have to spend a lot more time fixing things than buying things. Hide and watch what happens to the US fly fishing industry. Hey, IT IS WHAT IT IS.

This repair is simple, but the product you need Sika 221 is not. This Sika flex is unusual, and although I have yet to unbind my boots, I have full trust that this adhesive makes this repair a DONE DEAL. My Simms Flats Sneakers have traveled many miles with me, through many flats and mud flats. They are the best fitting boot – for MY FOOT – in their class. And that is why I want to get them fixed before I resort to sending them off to an uncertain fate.

Have you had this problem? Let me know, and let me know if you shipped them back to SIMMS, or repaired them yourself? And how did it turn out?
