Denton, Texas, artist Aurora Cabrera brings her Oaxacan roots to a series of watercolors originally created for cookbook illustrations. The series available here, was selected for variety in color and subject, as well as the obvious appeal for a person who loves to cook Mexican food. While her artwork is fairly hard to get, I can definitely get your eyes on her current work - on request.

Aurora's color usage exhibits those Oaxaca roots more prominently than the illustrations, and I am very happy to have even ONE of her canvas prints from the painting, titled, "Mama' " now available for purchase!
