Fishing Plier Sheath
KYDEX! A Truly Better Solution For You
YOU KNOW THE DEAL! Whether you are wading the salt flats, running your skiff or one of those Soggy Bottom Boys I talk so much about – you have probably experienced soggy sheath at least once in your life.
You know, that bad feeling when your expensive pliers in their leather sheath take a slow dip below the surface… and you cringe because you know how it ends. Your pliers have to be set out, separate from the sheath, and that gooey sheath sits around for days drying out. Been there. Done that. How long do you think that leather sheath is going to last?

Put Away That Soggy Sheath!
And that is what inspired me to learn how to make the Kydex sheaths for my expensive Danco Premio Pliers and now your pliers as well. I can tell you working with Kydex, for me, is not a simple process. And as I began experimenting with my pliers and Kydex? There has been plenty of trial and error.
But, as I learned, I realized this Kydex really is the deal. It created a fantastic grip on my pliers, and also let go of them with a conscious pull. Now, because of the asymmetrical design of high end fishing pliers, I realized immediately – there is a left, and there is a right hand side to these pliers and the sheath. Then I realized the custom process means I will be needing YOUR pliers to get it made correctly.
I take all these needs I have, as part of what goes into filling a fisherman’s demands – your needs – for a secure way to hold expensive pliers that is safe, secure and is finally – DRY! Kydex does not hold a speck of water, and I drill the backside at the nose tip of where the pliers sit – because it just made sense for drainage!

It should start to be obvious by now, your Kydex sheath is designed for YOU and for YOUR pliers. Left hand, right hand, several colors, handmade lanyards as an additional accessory – I would say necessity! – and all at a very reasonable price.
Are you convinced yet? Go to the store, and start the process today! As soon as your pliers arrive here, the work starts, and the sooner I get them the sooner you have them back where they belong – on your belt, safe, secure and dry. FEEL FREE to Contact ME if you have any questions about the process for getting your very own custom Kydex plier sheath. Don’t wait.
