Local Internet Outages Reek Havoc on Schedules

For a long look at what Wild Art actually is, be sure to check out the post – What is Wild Art?

Today’s wild art comes from the Brownsville Ship Channel

I was fortunate enough to have the big gun (a real camera, a real GOOD camera) along last spring when I spotted a name on a shrimp boat that reminded me of home, or specifically my whiskey sipping neighbor across the street – Joe.

Photographs, on their own, after thirty-six intense years of being obsessed with the format, do not do as much for my creative juices as do the things one can do with those too literal renditions. The Whiskey Joe is a perfect example of how to transform one of my average images into another, more appealing, less photographic style.

Black Clouser Fly - The Bass Wakanda
Product Details

Not available in any big box store, my Wakanda Clouser takes bass by the teeth and doesn't let go! The black-on-black Clouser has a way of working to the point, well, it IS ONE of my true GO-TO flies for bass. Especially effective when bass feed - in low light - this fly works all day long. Don't ask me why it works, but if you must? I really think it is the silhouette black color fish see when they look up.

Sizes 2 or 4 and each has its own eye weight - the 4 is a 4.8 top-shelf dumbell, and the 2 is a 5.5 - and that makes them proportionally accurate and turn over to run as ALL CLOUSERS SHOULD - HOOK UP!
