Weekly Angler’s Podcast

Maybe you didn’t even know this Texas Angler PODCAST exists, but this is a weekly report on fishing and fly fishing in Texas. As long as TPWD Fishing Reports are MIA, I figure I may as well drop my two-cents-worth in the jar, and what better way than a listen on the way to work? This is also the only, ONLY, place you get a weekly calendar of Texas fly fishing club meetings as well! Listen for that near the end of the PODCAST.

I would guess, the brains at TPWD are looking to do something similar to a podcast or a real VIDEO post weekly for anglers, but I have been wrong about TPWD before, many times before.

TPWD Fishing Reports had a cancer growing on them for years, and that is why there’s virtually no real loud “noise” about them disappearing – be it temporary or permanent. But … we have covered all this here before!

Take a listen to the PODCAST and let me know how I can make it better. And if you haven’t already subscribed to the YouTube Channel? do me a favor and subscribe. OR if you are on your phone HYPE it.

ON TOPIC

On the video topic, just to let anyone who has dropped out, or is yet to add the Texas Fly Caster Membership to their YouTube lineup, I think I have finally honed in on a great way for that membership on YouTube to bring you some new and REAL content you don’t get elsewhere.

There are two specific NEW things down the pike for YouTube Members:

• ONE – “Short Strikes” is a new video category for me, and only available by subscription. It includes straight ahead commentary on topics, like last week’s encounter with trolls on the TexasFishingForum.com website. It includes my favorite and least favorite fly fishing finds – good videos / bad videos, etc… Axes may grind, and bridges may burn, but unless you are a MEMBER? you will never know. Fast and Hot.
• TWO – The “Insider Looks” continue with deep diving into the processes behind creating content for the Texas Fly Caster YouTube Channel as well as other inside looks at how I make things for PoPs Fly Shop … and whatever else I consider to be “Insider.”
