NOTE – This is a tourney I have done no less than three times. I have walked it (a total waste of time considering the geography), by kayak and by boat. THERE ARE so many tournaments there that the areas near the boat ramps are typically loaded with bass (released after weighed). Weekends at Lake Fork are a complete ZOO. A lot of the luster is off Lake Fork in the last few years, as anglers zero in on different lakes with the help of social media and the internet. It used to just be anglers would chase a lake’s reputation (like Fork), but the ability to gather instant information means the herds can muddy the water when any lake anywhere gets hot. This is a TOUGH TOURNAMENT and prefishing will give you a much, MUCH better shot of finishing in the money.
