TFO introduces the BVK
According to a new press release on the Temple Forks Outfitters (TFO) web site, they are rolling out a new rod the BVK. Now, TFO has never been a company that shies away from coming out with a new line of rods, and they still have several old lines that are available, but as far as the industry goes, TFO has been much more deliberate in the last couple of years when bringing a new fly rod to market.

PRESS RELEASE FROM TFO

A finely tuned instrument, lightweight and highly responsive.

That’s what experts are saying about the new BVK series of fly rods from Temple Fork Outfitters. Engineered to the highest performance standards, the BVK utilizes new materials that dramatically reduce weight while creating an aggressive blend of power and strength. The result is amazing performance and an incredible price.

“I’ve dedicated the past year to designing the BVK rods, they are everything I hoped for. You can’t beat the performance, and you sure can’t beat the price.” Lefty Kreh

“Working with Lefty on the design of the BVK Family of rods has taught me all that I never knew about rod design. What has been such a treat for me is bound to become the same for BVK owners! Grab one and see how much trouble you can get into!” Flip Pallot

The rich translucent olive blanks are topped with matching braided carbon fiber reel seats, REC recoil stripping guides, ultra lightweight chromium-impregnated stainless snake guides and flor grade grips that are comfortably contoured and uniquely contrasted. Priced at $224.95-$249.95, these four-piece fly rods are initially available as 9-foot models, for line weights ranging from 5 through 8. Additional models scheduled for delivery later this year, including an 8-foot 3-weight up to a 9-foot 10-weight. Pick one up, we think you will find the BVK light weight and loaded with performance.
