In the interest of filling in the blanks, the research staff has been percolating the idea of initiating a contest to fill in the blanks in the category of “Catch and Release” in the Texas Parks and Wildlife record books. Rather than front this with our own idea of “what people want” – awards, rewards, recognition and such, how about we have a 50-dollar entry fee, and the winner takes the cash? What are the rules? The details regarding registration and recognition of the records would be as plain as the rules for registering Texas Catch and Release records. This could be interesting.
