Provides in depth understanding of advanced concepts and assists in skill development of versatile and effective techniques. Emphasis will be given to maximizing accuracy, distance, and efficiency through loop control, double hauling, and other strategies. Suitable for intermediate and advanced casters. Very limited enrollment. Lunch at Pelicans Landing Restaurant included.

Doc Thompson and I will be offering our popular Trout Lab class November 16 & 17, 2013 on the Lower Mountain Fork River near Broken Bow, Oklahoma. This class takes an in-depth look at trout physiology, meteorology, fluviology, entomology and other natural aspects and combines them with the practical aspect of fly fishing. The class is designed to identify and analyze conditions we encounter on any given day on the water and how to make adjustments for those conditions.
Saturday’s portion takes place in a classroom with a combination of power point presentations and open discussions. Sunday’s session is spent on the Mountain Fork River. Tuition is $250.00 per person and Saturday lunch is included. For additional information or to make reservations please contact either Doc Thompson or me.

Elise Update-
My daughter Elise finally got to come home from the hospital on Friday, March 29. She is going to physical therapy and rehab in Tyler 3 days a week and is starting back to school this week Thank you to everyone who has supported and encouraged us during her illness.
