North Lakes Park Ponds – South

| April 6, 2021

I mentioned this Easter fish hunt Monday, and here is the video from that sleep deprived outing. Thanks for watching and please subscribe here, and / or on the YouTube Channel to fill in all the blanks – I hope!

Denton has a way of snatching defeat from the jaws of victory, more often than the other way around. The ponds at North Lakes Park are no exception. The primary reason for that is legit though: These are Soil Conservation ponds, and there’s virtually nothing the City of Denton can do beyond the water’s edge. The edge is pretty darn bad though!

Let me know what you want to know, and if I don’t know, well … I will find out for you! There is a huge learning opportunity coming in Houston next week …

Be sure you hunt me down in Houston, Texas, next week! I am planning on a couple of visits to the Houston Fishing Show, and would love to trade information with you there! I will be visiting friends, learning (big time), writing news stories, and helping promote my local SeaDek Manufacturer – TopDek Manufacturing – from right here in Denton, Texas! If you need boat or kayak SeaDek – CUSTOM – feel free to reach out to me, and I can make that happen for you. My skiff was decked in the off-season, and I am super excited to see how great it works this season!

I should also be carrying samples of my fly line mats, so track me down by text – nine/four/zero 380-040eight at the show. I can also take orders from you directly – JUST FIND ME! If you want to save shipping, and you’re in Houston, ORDER YOUR MAT NOW, and I will hand deliver it to you at the show.
