Monday Morning and Pass the Kleenex

| November 26, 2012

Today, I will use up one of my “free passes” because I am sick as a dogfish.

The past three days of Galveston Bay helped distract me from the cold deftly handed off to me upon my arrival in Houston, but yesterday, once it became paddle stroke – snort spit – paddle stroke, I knew the graffiti was on the wall.

So, let me beg off a few days so that I can get ready for my work here in Houston Thursday. I imagine I can get something you can use for your “Galveston File” before then. As you can see (instagram photo on right column), it’s not only what you know, but who you know when it comes to finding fish in vast systems like Galveston Bay’s marshes.

Catching flounder and reds on fly rod is still viable as of this writing, and I will go into greater detail when that post finds it’s way to Texas Fly Caster.
