STILL RIDING THE TIGER

Hey there and welcome to the Monday (afternoon) Morning Sidewalk! The future looks like a weather setback – this week for sure – and the recent past was bullied by a bad alternator on the Yota. NOTE: You know you are on the skids when you find yourself crawling around underneath your car on a bed of rocks … trying to figure out how you got that alternator out, so you might remember how to get it back in. NOTE 2: No, I won’t work on your car!

Short and sweet – The breakdown killed my chance to go down to Fredericksburg, TX, and a few other things as well. That is really too bad because the weather Thursday and Friday were exceptional. Now, I am getting pop-up reminders that a year ago the weather blew out this entire week. And now it’s about to happen again.

Sit tight. Remember that I tie flies in the Fly Bar on Wednesday night (contact me for more information) weather PERMITTING! Tuesday is the increasingly popular “Tournament Tuesday” column, and that is followed by “Wild Art Wednesday” that is starting to gain momentum as well.

Thanks for reading have a great week, and take cover.

PS – Heard from the boys still on Marathon — Saw 500 tarpon last Wednesday. Missed it by THAT much.
