Mechanical Gremlins Attack My Plans!

I wanted to let you all in on the things going on here. No emergencies! It is simply a series of fairly complex mechanical debacles. I have to admit I have never had so many SNAFUs going all at once, and the ONE I did not prepare for was the skiff. That is because I am only now realizing … I have had it for ten years! Ten years that passed in the blink of an eye. You know that feeling, right?

Add to the unexpected skiff breakdown, the Toyota shaking around on a 300K mile suspension? Not only that, a X-REAS suspension? That spells a ground-up NEW suspension IN TRANSIT now. And I will have to turn the wrenches myself – rolling around on the ground just like the old days of my 1984 FJ60, except with about six inches less ground clearance and twelve more years of age.

Third, and moving up fast? A hard-fast deadline for the Vintage Airstream. I detail my work there as best as I can (fly fishing comes first here), but the LOCO AIRSTREAMER is gaining fast. Imagine a mobile fly fishing home base! I know I am.
So what we get here, is what we got here. Mechanical GREMLINS run amok.

Whether you like it or not, this is what is going on here and now. But, I get the feeling things are going to turn … for some strange reason. All I know is; there is going to be a lot of WRENCHING in the near future.
