White Bass Shindig
When: Saturday, March 17th, 9:00 A.M-6:00 P.M.
Where: Living Waters Fly Fishing

9:00 A.M. — Doors Open
10:00 A.M. — White Bassin’ near Waco
Presenter: Pat Vanek
Pat is the President of the Jack Sparks Central Texas Flyrodders club in Waco, TX. He has a vast knowledge of white bass fishing the greater Waco area and he will be sharing new white bass fishing locations that many fly fisherman from this area are not familiar with.
1:00 P.M. — White Bass Fly Tying Demo
Presenters: Matt Bennett and Chris Johnson
Learn how to tie some of our favorite patterns for the spring white bass run!
3:00 P.M. — Fly Fishing for Hill Country White Bass
Presenter: Chris Johnson
The what-to-do’s, where-to-go’s, and why-to-do-it’s for Central Texas white bass!

Wednesday, March 21st – Fly Tying Night
Our regularly scheduled Tying Night. We meet at Pok E Jo’s @ 6:00 P.M. and then we head back to the fly shop at 7:00 P.M. to tie up a storm!

Thursday, March 22nd –Beginning Fly Tying Class
Instructors: Chris Johnson and Matt Bennett
When: Thursday, March 22nd, 6:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M.
Where: Living Waters Fly Fishing
Skill Level: Beginner
Cost: $50

If you have ever wanted to begin fly tying but just needed someone to show you how, this is a class designed with you in mind. Matt and Chris will be teaching the elemental basics of fly tying and will help you build solid fly tying foundations that will last a lifetime! All vises, tools, and materials will be provided. March 23rd-25th, FLYSTOCK @ Long’s Fish Camp on the Llano
This is a new event that will be held on the banks of the Llano River near Kingsland, TX. Living Waters Fly Fishing will have a booth at this event on Saturday, March 24th. Wed., March 28th – Fly Tying Night

Instructors: Chris Johnson and Matt Bennett
When: Thursday, March 29th, 6:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M.
Where: Living Waters Fly Fishing
Skill Level: Intermediate to Advanced
Cost: $50
This class is designed to teach the many uses of the Marc Petitjean Magic Tool. This tool has revolutionized our tying by opening up new possibilities with tried and true materials! This is a class that you will not want to miss. Class size is limited to 6 students. All students will need to supply their own Vises, Tools, and Magic Tools. Living Waters Fly Fishing will supply the materials needed for the class. Marc Petitjean Magic Tools are available for purchase in store. Cost is $50 for the two hour class. Saturday, March 31st — Fly-A-Thon Finale
Where: Living Waters Fly Fishing
When: Saturday, March 31st, ALL DAY

We are pleased to announce that we have already received over 1000 flies for the Fly-A-Thon donations and have that many more flies committed!! We will be hosting the finale to this event and there will be fly tying in the store all day long!! Our goal is to host as many fly tiers as possible and see how many flies we can tie in a single day to donate to Casting for Recovery and Reel Recovery.
