Just a Little Teaser From Colorado

| August 1, 2010

[display_podcast]

I managed to catch a few rainbow trout yesterday morning before we headed from Creede, Colorado, to the Gunnison River in Colorado. Hope this will keep you satisfied until this journey is wrapped up all nice and tidy-like. You’ll have to take the video for what it’s worth, as flying solo does have its awkward video moments. Who knows? It can get so clumsy it’s only a matter of time until I make it onto America’s Funniest Home Videos.

All I can say is, this day (from video) makes up for the complete washout today at the Taylor just below the dam. That’s a whole different story though.

Oh, I forgot to tell you . . . nobody actually CATCHES the fish on the Taylor C-n-R stretch. You’re just supposed to go look at them. Maybe cast a bit for show!

Pure skunk on the Taylor / Gunnison. Looking for some redemption on the St. Vrain tomorrow as this campaign winds down. All you get is half days as these monsoons are all over the state of Colorado. JG – thanks for the comment.

Good luck on the Gunnison. I was up there last fall. check out my pics at http://www.jerrygoodale.com/gunnison Good Browns. Not many fish shots. You are better at shooting while catching. My brain does not work that well. I will watch for your posts. jg
