East Bound

| May 20, 2011

Typical spring storms are rumbling through this morning (check out that radar), so I will load up and head east, away from the storms, and toward Lake Fork, Texas. The legendary lake is host to the “Bass on the Fly World Championships” this weekend – tomorrow – and I figured I needed to go Gonzo on it and report back to readers.

There is a thread running on the fly fishing tournament, so read on, and feel free to comment. And don’t forget to check the twitpic images at the bottom of Texas Fly Caster for up to the minute FishPix.

Shannon, hope you have fun. We went last week with the FWFF and it was tough fishing, got one fish with clouser. It was around 4.5 lbs. Good luck!
