New Option for Commenting on Articles at Texas Fly Caster

| June 8, 2013

It has been many lean years of commenting on articles on Texas Fly Caster, but now you can comment on what you read here, or simply add knowledge to the conversation by clicking on “comment” in the headline.

It’s a roll of the dice, as the Russians and Chinese could invade at any moment. Your comments are held in moderation until approved, so that will give me a fair shot at heading the invaders off at the pass.

I’ll kick myself hard if comments actually start to roll in, and this is what’s been squelching you guys all these years!!!

NOW, MORE THAN EVER, FEEL FREE TO COMMENT!

This weekend is shaping up to be spectacular weather, and less spectacular fishing as our nights are still too cool to generate any vibrant action. I will be fishing Lake Kiowa this morning with RD, and am in serious photography mode as this long delayed photography project finally gets underway. More on that as I go along.

We all know how dangerous lakes can be on the weekends, but if you have the chance to hole-up in a cove on Texoma or Ray Roberts this weekend, don’t be surprised if you see me (on Ray Roberts anyway).

NEW SALTWATER GEAR

I added a new rod to the quiver in expectation of the Florida trip (now delayed), and will make sure to show-and-tell about those as the month unfolds at a different pace now. I do have some time for Texas Salt now, so if anyone is interested …

Check out this boat – http://dallas.craigslist.org/ftw/boa/3850815479.html . How about a 1955 “Bonefish Skiff”!

I have followed TFC for years and have always appreciated the time and hard work you put into this site. Obviously I enjoy the fly talk but also enjoy the music and photo talk as well.
