Just about to peel the new Lyle Lovett open and give it a spin. I can't believe how good the new Beatles 2009 Remasters sound. Too good almost.

Sorry to make all these hoops to jump through just to post – but it gets easier as topics build. Look at bottom right for POST REPLY.

Dang! More good music getting in just under the deadline including but not limited to:

1) Dawes – The Western Skyline

2) Ray Fresco – The People

Too much music too little time I'm afraid.

Still trying to wrap my mind around Bob Dylan doing an old Brave Combo song – Must Be Santa. So, Denton is on the map again.

I have listened to Ray Fresco's album over and over and have become a fast fan. I heard them for the first time on the Bob Edwards morning show on xm public radio. The band said during the course of the interview that if they had to classify there music they would call it "Harp Rock". I think it's really crazy how they blend the lead instrument which is a harp with an almost tropical rock sound. I dig it and recommend it. I know this is an old post but I was late to the party and just recently found this site which I have very much enjoyed.

Thanks for the comment, and feel free to turn the crowd onto anything else you've heard. Shannon
