I recently posted something to the DFW kayaking group on Texas Kayak Fishing Forum, and got such a positive response that it is about a 95-percent sure thing that I will begin to offer a shuttle service along the Denton Ray Roberts to Lake Lewisville Greenbelt corridor. There are plenty of things to still work out, but if anyone has any thoughts, any … thoughts … let me hear the downside of this venture before it goes too far in my head. I am already thinking of a few right now.

Got my steel today and will get started welding the racks in the next few days. It should be a pretty simple rack – holds 8 kayaks. Going for the overbuild as usual. Looking to give away some free shuttles soon. Check the site http://www.kayakshuttleservice.com for more information and freebie shuttles on the North Texas Greenbelt.

The racks are built! I will attach photograph once everything is mounted up and ready to roll. I built it, now once it cools off, maybe they will come. I am also looking at a lake shuttle that leaves out of IDB Park boat ramps and ends at the ramps of your choosing. It would run north-south or vice versa based on wind direction.
