So I came across a guy today, a retired dealer from Las Vegas, fishing next to the 922 bridge north of Ray Roberts. We started talking about carp fishing and he offered up this recipe for eating carp on a shingle;

1 – let the carp soak in brine for 24 hours

2 – soak shingle, season carp put on shingle and cook on grill

3 – when done, throw away carp and eat shingle

'Spose to be good. Keep in mind why the fish even made it to America to begin with. I think that you Shannon, being the Captain here and all, should cook some up, take some pics, and let us know how it tastes.

My wife has cooked  meat  few times that a fish soaked  board would be considered tender and flavorful  by comparison keep in mind this is a woman that uses the smoke alarm for a timer.
