This is a stupid simple product. What you do is put the hose under your hood and shut the hood on it, wedging it in and leaving the loop out. You can do the same thing on your back hatch. Run your kayak security straps through the loops (they're about a foot long) and you now have the security part of strapping down your kayak done. It eliminates having to crawl under your car, drill holes, bolt on hooks and eyes. The loop of strap is super strong, epoxied and aluminum riveted at the joint point. The hose is top quality and will not come apart at the slits.
