I wouldn't carry 'em if I didn't believe in 'em! For those of us who are visually challenged close-up, Flex Spex takes one more variable out of your day on the water. Simply bend the arms to the position you want - in front of your sunglasses, eyes or other glasses, and see what you are tying on!
They are made with superior components, and have a strong magnet that clicks the two halves together above the bill of your hat. Or, simply bend them up out of the way and don't click them together. The clips are strong, wide gator-type clips that really hold, and the wire arms don't weaken after use either.
They come in 1.5, 2.0 and 2.5 magnification, and I suggest using the same magnification you use for the respective flies you are tying. The 2.5's will tie the smallest fly you would ever consider.
