Diablo Kayaks
Beginning in 2011, I joined the Diablo Pro Staff as a Pro Angler for the Austin based Diablo Paddlesports. Diablo boats are designed, manufactured and warehoused in Austin, Texas.
Diablo has what I consider to be a superior approach to kayak fishing and specifically fly fishing from kayaks. The “Sup” (stand up paddling) design is one that is as easy to navigate standing up as sitting down. There has also been a lot written about “how to cast from a kayak” with a fly rod. It’s no real secret that a good fly cast can be made sitting – on anything – as long as it’s a good fly cast. The rest of us like standing up. The second most important thing about standing is sighting – sighting and stalking fish from a standing position on a kayak, I can tell you, feels almost like cheating.

So, if you are interested in catching the next wave in kayak fishing, fill out the “Contact” form to see about taking a test ride at a pond near you. Be sure to bring friends too! If you already own a Diablo, fill out the “Contact” form and send in Diablo fish porn, and I will see about getting you some free Diablo swag.
