Back From Houston and Wondering

| April 23, 2013

Well, for the first time ever, I got blanked at the Tomball golf course on fishing Monday. None of the other guys surrounding the ponds were exactly slaying them, but that never ever makes me feel any better.

On the drive back to North Texas yesterday, I began to contemplate poaching, what it means – the definition – and if it’s a viable way of getting onto mo’ better water around here.

The questions I have are:

1) If you aren’t taking fish out, is it poaching?
2) If there’s no signage (in Texas), what do you do?
3) So, can a land owner shoot you, no questions asked?
4) Do readers want to start a legal defense fund for this adventure?

What can I say? Long drives, especially long boring drives, give me way too much time to think.
